PlayStation messaging gets its very own iOS and Android app

Other than actually physically shaking them, there's only one way to get in touch with friends/ significant others playing Fallout 4 and that's PlayStation messaging. While it's become much more user friendly of late, complete with stickers from the last update, Sony has announced a standalone iOS and Android PlayStation Messages app.
Announced on the PlayStation Blog and out today, the app will allow you to see if your friends are online, send messages to individuals or groups and send photos and voice messages. Plus, the stickers are back so you can send as many cartoon pictures of Nathan Drake as you want. The original PlayStation app will still be on hand for lining up downloads when you are out and about and for use as a second screen.
